MALLORCA WEDDING GUIDE

Guide for your wedding in Mallorca - For your unforgettable celebration

From my experience, Mallorca is the perfect place for your dream wedding!
Mallorca's fincas are like something out of a fairytale and offer romantic retreats for your wedding.
With idyllic gardens, rustic architecture and a warm atmosphere, they create a unique backdrop that will make your special day unforgettable.
Enjoy the glorious summer weather as you celebrate your love against a breathtaking backdrop. And the best thing is that Mallorca is spoiled with sun all year round! With its pleasant Mediterranean climate, you can plan your wedding outdoors and feel the warm rays of the sun on your skin. The good flight connections to Mallorca make the journey easy and convenient for you and your guests.
So you can look forward to your wedding carefree, without the stress of traveling.

Are you dreaming of exchanging vows in a picturesque church setting on the stunning island of Mallorca? Whether you're English or American, marrying in a Mallorcan church is a beautiful and memorable experience. Here's a guide to help you make your dream wedding a reality:
Choose Your Church: Mallorca offers a plethora of charming churches and chapels, each with its unique character and ambiance. Explore your options and select a venue that resonates with your vision for the perfect ceremony.

Early Planning: Availability can be limited, so it's crucial to plan early. Contact your desired church well in advance to secure your preferred date and discuss requirements.

Documents and Preparations: For English or American couples, specific documentation may be required. Ensure you have all necessary documents, such as passports, birth certificates, and any legal paperwork, well in advance. Additionally, consider any requirements specific to your denomination.

Communication: Reach out to the church or parish to communicate your intentions and start the planning process. They will guide you through the necessary steps and provide assistance along the way.

Ceremony Details: Work closely with the church officials to plan the details of your ceremony. Discuss your preferences for music, readings, and any special rituals you wish to incorporate.

Would you like to plan an unforgettable wedding in Mallorca? I am happy to give you advice that I was able to collect for you as a wedding photographer Mallorca.
I myself got married on the island in 2021 and now live here.
In this article you will find all the important information and valuable advice for your dream wedding on the popular island. Mallorca promises an unforgettable day full of romantic moments and Mediterranean flair. The breathtaking backdrop of picturesque bays, gorgeous beaches and charming old towns will make your wedding on Mallorca a unique experience.

A wedding ceremony in Mallorca offers couples the unique opportunity to design their wedding entirely according to their own ideas and wishes.
In contrast to civil or church weddings, there are no prescribed rituals or religious restrictions for a wedding ceremony.´
You can design the ceremony according to your own taste and incorporate unique elements that reflect your relationship and personality. Whether romantic, modern, themed or traditional - there are no limits to your imagination.
I often accompany couples who have married in a small civil ceremony at home and then want to celebrate again on a large scale with their friends and family.
Here you will find all information and tipps for a wedding ceremony on Mallorca.

Couples dreaming of a romantic wedding in Mallorca should note that beach weddings are not permitted without further ado. Public beaches in Mallorca are not allowed to be set up for weddings.

It is very romantic to imagine getting married with your loved one on the beach. In reality, however, the beaches are usually very full and sometimes overcrowded, especially in the high season. Fortunately, intimate beach ceremonies are possible on a small scale in conjunction with beach bars or beach clubs.
If you want photos on the beach, you could do this at an after-wedding shoot. However, my tip for you is to celebrate the get-together on Mallorca on a beach if possible.

Getting married in Mallorca offers a wide range of options, but costs can vary greatly. Factors like guest count, venue, catering, and entertainment all play a role.
To stay on track financially, plan your budget carefully and compare service providers. Consider hiring a wedding planner—they can help with budgeting and may secure discounts.
While costs in Mallorca can rival those in cities like London, or New York, careful planning can ensure a perfect day within your means.

The wedding season in Mallorca is mainly during the summer months, which are the best time for an outdoor wedding.
As it gets very hot in July/August, simply plan your wedding a little later and adapt to the Spanish conditions.
The longer days in summer mean more time for the wedding celebrations. The couple and guests can enjoy the special day late into the evening and savor the festivities.
In terms of time, I would recommend a church wedding at around 4:00 pm and a free wedding at around 5:00 pm/6:00 pm.
